For the Choir, College, High School, and Open Category held at the Arts House Chamber on the 21st and 22nd of August 2010, we provided a rig consisting of:

• Mackie HD1531
• Mackie HD1501 subwoofers
• Mackie 3204 VLZ3 Mixer
• Wireless microphones
• other processing equipment
• Audio cables were 100% Klotz Cables which gave us high reliability and ease of setup.

For all 3 days, Xiang Ju engineered the sound for all the groups participating in the competition. We have got very good comments as this is the first time the A Cappella Society has relied on an external system rather than the system already installed in the Arts House Chamber. Many people commented that there was increased clarity and definition to the sound. This can be attributed to the 3 way nature of the HD1531 and also of course the skill of our system alignment

For the final day for the International Category held at The Esplanade Recital Studio, Xiang Ju mixed on the Soundcraft VI6 supplemented by the D&B speaker system supplied by The Esplanade.

Green Onion was placed first in the international category of the A Cappella Championships 2010.

Their soloist also clinched the best soloist award and was awarded the Audix OM5 Microphone sponsored by XJ Audio and Visual Productions.

We were fascinated by the huge improvement in the standards of A Cappella in Asia and Singapore and are proud once again to have been given the chance to engineer the sound for the competition.
